Garden Room Flooring Options

Flooring is included in every build. Here's what we fit as standard and the options available.

Every Green Rooms build includes fitted flooring and skirting boards as standard. You won't need to arrange or source this separately.

Laminate Flooring

Included as standard

High-quality laminate flooring is fitted as standard on all builds. Available in a range of wood-effect finishes — light oak, grey oak, dark walnut and more. Hard-wearing, easy to clean and appropriate for year-round garden room use.

Best for: Offices, garden rooms, studios — any dry indoor use

Gym Flooring

Available on request

Commercial-grade rubber matting for gyms and fitness rooms. Protects the subfloor from impact, provides grip, dampens noise from weights and equipment. Available as a full-floor installation or partial overlay over laminate.

Best for: Garden gyms, golf simulator rooms, fitness studios

Underfloor Preparation

All our builds use SIPs for the floor panel as well as the walls and roof — this gives a rigid, properly insulated subfloor that prevents cold bridging and dampness from below. Flooring is fitted on top of this once the interior is plastered and dried out, ensuring a flat, stable surface.
